i4 Recruitment are working with a successful manufacturing business to recruit an Assembly Technician for their facility based on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk.

Reporting into the Production Manager and working alongside the wider Production team, you’ll be responsible for the assembly & test of a range of Mechanical & Electrical products.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assembly of Mechanical & Electrical products.
  • Testing of Mechanical & Electrical assembles ensuring the product meets the quality standard.
  • Low-level fault diagnosis & correction.
  • In process quality inspection / testing of material and products, including maintaining quality records.

The position requires overtime to be worked, sometimes at short notice to enable deadlines to be achieved.
